Simon Mildé is the Chairman and Founding Partner of Richbell Capital (“RBC”). He is responsible for overseeing all of RBC’s investments.

Simon Milde is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Greenwich Group International LLC (“GGI”), Mr. Mildé is responsible for overseeing all worldwide real estate investment banking activities of the firm. With over 30 years’ experience in the international marketing of institutional quality real estate, Mr. Mildé is actively involved in the marketing efforts of all major assignments from the firm’s New York headquarters’ office.

As one of the more active real estate investment banks, GGI has been involved in the disposition and financing of over $30 billion in commercial real estate throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. Over the past several years, GGI has built a reputation as a creative source of capital for all sectors of real estate, both on the entity and project levels.

Simon Mildé, as Chairman, co-founded Terra Capital Partners (“Terra”). Terra is a New York based income fund manager that originates and manages mezzanine and bridge loans backed by commercial real estate. Terra has engaged in the origination and management of debt and equity investments in over 350 properties. Terra Capital Partners financed or acquired commercial properties with an aggregate value in excess of $6 billion.

Simon Mildé is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Capital District Properties, LLC, an experienced, fully integrated real estate development firm that specializes in land acquisition, development, construction and management of commercial real estate throughout New York State.

Simon Mildé is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of RBC Hotels LLC, a privately held real estate investment, development and management company focused on distinctive and unique independent hotel properties located in urban and resort locations throughout the United States of America.

Prior to the formation of The Greenwich Group International LLC in June 1995, Mr. Mildé was President of Kennedy-Wilson International, a Nasdaq-traded real estate company, from 1993 to 1995. From 1977 to 1993, Mr. Mildé was Managing Partner and Chairman of Jones Lang Wootton USA and was instrumental in building the firm from the original five-man office into a major, national, full-service real estate company. Over the past 30 years, Mr. Mildé has been responsible for attracting numerous foreign institutions to U.S. real estate. More recently, he has helped pioneer the export of U.S. capital into the European and Asian real estate investment markets. In forming The Greenwich Group International LLC, he has created one of the first truly global real estate investment banking groups to handle these cross-border flows of capital.

Mr. Mildé is a past Governor of the Real Estate Board of New York, a Member of the Advisory Board of the Real Estate Institute of New York University, and a Member of the Real Estate Roundtable.

Toby Mildé

CEO & Founding Partner

Tobias Mildé is a founding partner and the Chief Executive Officer of Richbell Capital (RBC). As CEO, Mr. Mildé directly oversees all aspects of RBC’s business. 

Since its formation in 2001, Mr. Mildé has been responsible for the creation and growth of Richbell Capital into a full-service real estate company with skilled capabilities in property development, construction services, property management, asset management and real estate finance. Focused on ground up multifamily development, RBC has achieved a successful track record of substantial value creation through its institutional quality real estate portfolio.

Mr. Mildé has been instrumental in sourcing and executing the acquisition, development, construction and management of both RBC’s stabilized properties and its current pipeline of future opportunities. 

Prior to the formation of RBC, Mr. Mildé spent six years with The Greenwich Group International (GGI) where he focused on development finance and investment sales for institutional real estate clients throughout the United States. Prior to joining GGI, Mr. Mildé was employed by Mirage Resorts and Casinos.

Mr. Mildé holds a BS in Hotel Institutional Management from Johnson & Wales University. He is a licensed real estate broker in the State of New York. In 2008, Mr. Mildé was a recipient of The Capital District Business Review’s 40 top business professionals under the age of 40.

William M. Hoblock, Esq.

President & Founding Partner

William M. Hoblock, Esq. is a founding partner and the President of Richbell Capital (RBC). As President, Mr. Hoblock is directly involved in and oversees all aspects of RBC’s business.

Mr. Hoblock has been with RBC since its formation in 2001 and has led the way in making RBC a full-service real estate company with an unparalleled expertise in property development, construction services, property management, asset management and real estate finance. With an emphasis on ground-up multifamily development, RBC’s focus is building an institutional quality real estate portfolio.

Mr. Hoblock’s leadership has been critical to the success of RBC’s acquisition, development, construction and management of its stabilized properties, as well as in advancing its lineup of future projects.

An attorney, Mr. Hoblock is licensed to practice law in the State of New York. Mr. Hoblock also served two terms as a member of the Albany County Legislature.   

Prior to joining RBC, Mr. Hoblock spent four years with Nextel Partners, Inc., where he was responsible for developing wireless communication facilities throughout the Northeast. Prior to joining Nextel, Mr. Hoblock was a litigation attorney in private practice with the law firm of Thorn and Gershon, LLP in Albany, New York.

Mr. Hoblock has served on various boards including as a long-tenured member of the Board of Directors of the Colonie Senior Service Centers, Inc. (CSSC), a not-for-profit organization that provides housing and services to senior citizens throughout the Capital Region. Mr. Hoblock was a member of CSSC’s Housing and Property Management Committee that oversees the operations of the organization’s 400 age-restricted rental apartments. Mr. Hoblock also served as a member of the Board of Directors’ Executive Committee.     

Mr. Hoblock graduated cum laude with a JD from Albany Law School of Union University and holds a BA from St. Lawrence University. He is also a licensed real estate broker in the State of New York.
