Toby Mildé

Tobias Mildé is a founding member and the President of Richbell Capital (RBC). As President, Mr. Milde oversees the day-to-day acquisition, development, construction, and property management activities for the company’s real estate operations.

In 2012, RBC acquired the Adelphi Hotel. RBC is currently renovating the historic property to its original first-class status. The Hotel was originally built in 1877 and represents one of America’s oldest Hotels still in operation and Saratoga Springs most iconic building. Mr. Milde is responsible for the formation and overseeing the day-to-day development and management operations of RBC Hotels.

In 2012, Capital District Properties, RBC’s multifamily development and property management company, commenced construction on The Kensington at Halfmoon, a 200-rental-unit multifamily development located in Halfmoon, New York. The project is slated for completion summer of 2014. In 2012, Capital District Properties completed construction of The Paddocks of Saratoga, a 420-rental-unit multifamily development located in Saratoga Springs, New York. The property was awarded the local choice award of “Best Apartment Complex” in Saratoga County in 2009, 2011 and 2012. Capital District is currently in various stages of the development process for an additional 750 multifamily units and the land development of a 60-single-family-home subdivision. Mr. Milde is responsible for the formation and overseeing the day-to-day development and management operations of Capital District Properties.

In 2006, RBC formed RBC Construction, the entity responsible for Owners Representation of all of the company’s developments. Over the ensuing six years RBC has grown into a full-service and fully staffed General Contracting firm. RBC Construction is responsible for overseeing the construction of in excess of $100,000,000. Mr. Milde is responsible for the formation and day-to-day operation of RBC Construction.

Prior to the formation of RBC, Mr. Mildé spent six years with The Greenwich Group International (GGI) where he focused on development finance and investment sales for institutional real estate clients throughout the United States. Prior to joining GGI, Mr. Mildé was employed by Mirage Resorts and Casino’s Beau Rivage, a $750 million, 1,700-room luxury hotel and casino located in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Mr. Mildé holds a BS in Hotel Institutional Management from Johnson & Wales University. He is a licensed real estate broker in the State of New York, a member of the Saratoga Builders Association, and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. In 2008, Mr. Mildé was a recipient of The Capital District Business Review’s 40 top business professionals under the age of 40.
